Q: How long has Breakaway Auto Glass been in business?
A: Our owner has been working in the auto glass industry for well over 20 years and we have been a company, proudly serving the Hamilton region for the past six years.

Q: How many service vans do you have on the road?
A: We currently have two vans on the road, servicing the Hamilton and surrounding areas.

Q: Do you have a shop too? Or only mobile service?
We are only a mobile auto glass company, as we can service our clients at their house / parking lot / side of the road in a timely manner.

Q: Will the adhesive bond last?
A: Adhesives are exposed to cold, heat, humidity, rain and salt air for years to verify long-term strength.

Q: Why is it important to wait the prescribed time before driving the car?
A: For safety, it takes time to meet  requirements for windshield retention. The longer the urethane cures, the stronger the bond.

Q: How soon after the auto glass repair can I drive my car?
A: The repair is usually completed in 30 to 60 minutes, and the car may be driven – depending on weather – within two hours after the work has been completed.

Q: How does the windshield repair affect the windshield?
A: The repair is permanent. It will restore the strength of the windshield and prevent the damage from spreading. A repaired windshield will pass the same standards as a new windshield.

Q: Does your auto glass repair work on heated windshields or tinted windshields?
A: Yes, it will work on heated windshields.
